- Born in 1965, Ma is one of the emerging independent Chinese architects at the forefront of a 'cultural revolution' associated with China's booming economy and transforming society. After graduating from the Tsinghua University, Beijing and the University of Pennsylvania, Ma worked in KPF's ofice in New York City, Qingpu Thurnb Island, then founded his own practice. In only ten years, he has achieved global recognition in both practice and teaching.
